ENVIRONMENTAL CONCEPTS


The setting of our story takes place in a modern day urban environment . Concepts for the exterior of the fish shack. We wanted the shack to be relatively small and humble. With the scale showing the fact that it could hypothetically be run by a small team. The shack must also be clear on what it sells without needing extra explanation.



For the interior, we decided to focus on the layout of the restaurant and included furniture that will be ideated upon later on. As illustrated in our sketches and precedences, we took inspiration from fish related restaurants and stores. The layout in the front will include a simple cash register and a few tables. We decided to include a longer hallway in order for it to be utilized later on and to build suspense for the hidden mysteries within.



The interior of the kitchen will also include basic tools, such as a kitchen island, sink, and refrigerator. The storage room (freezer area) that was mentioned in the last bit of the script, will have piles of boxes stored in the back. The kitchen and the storage room are accessible through the hallway as well.
